I am annoyed today...everything I am trying to do just is NOT working out. Websites crashing or not letting me do what I need to do (probably operator error) can't get appts when I need them or get ahold of those I need to talk to!!! I need a mood change! Reading this REALLY makes me laugh and addresses another one of my annoyances! ahhh....smile on my face....better.....enjoy!
I have too much to say and being a stay at home mom with a kid in school and a husband who works 60+ hours a week, I needed an outlet, I think my animals needed a break...

Yummy Breakfast for Dinner!
I have always loved having breakfast for dinner, it was a fave for my bro and I as kids! Tonight I was inspired by these...
I am a coking newbie dumbo and never knew you could bake eggs like this...muffin/cupcake tray, little non-stick spray, crack the eggs in and cook at 350 for 20 minutes, TOO easy.
To finish them up I cooked Grands buttermilk rolls, sliced the eggs in half to fit the biscuit, we used ham and American in some, turkey and American in others and turkey and pepper jack in the rest. Once assembled we popped em back in the oven to heat and melt! So good!!!!
More running music...
Stop me any time (oh wait no one but me reads this...)....
1. "Dirty", Christina Aguilera. Awesome up tempo beat and makes me want to get my ass fit to be able to table dance in Vegas, lol!
2. "So What", P!NK. Love her love this song. Running with angst is my favorite!
3. "Single Ladies", Beyonce. Not a Beyonce fan at all, fan of running to this song!
4. "All These Things That I Have Done", The Killers, repeat I know but a fave at that!
5. "Dance in the Dark", Lady Gaga. Awesome Gaga song, awesome to run to!
6. "Manhunt", Karen Kamon. Another 'Flashdance' oldie but goodie!
7. "Pumped Up Kicks", Foster the People. Fell in love the first time I heard it, you can't not move!
8. "My Body", Young the Giant. L-O-V-E to run to this song and it is like my iPod knows when to turn it on for me when I need it most (the other day it happened when I was heading for my arch rival neighborhood hill). Also was very inspiring to me to get things back going after cancer, my body CAN!
9. "Love the Way You Lie", Eminem feat. Rihanna. This song is awesome and angry and keeps you going! Maybe it is even more to me having been in this type of relationship...who knows that's a whole other topic/post.
10. "You and I", Lady Gaga. One of my all time fave songs so even though the pace isn't super fast it keeps me going, hard not to sing out loud though...
11. "Imma Be", Black Eyed Peas. This is a duh...
To be cont....Suggestions welcomed!

Small Business Saturday
It is small business Saturday and I LOVE this idea!!! One purchase from all of us consumers at a local retailer makes a HUGE difference. I will admit I am sitting at home on my couch today not shopping BUT I did my shopping yesterday and it was all at local businesses, so that makes me happy! On that note... here are a few local businesses that I like, love or recommend! Some are near me, some are owned by people I know in other locations and some are places I have visited that I liked so much I remember them by name and cannot wait to visit again!!!

Probably one of the last to know but....
I just scored an amazing deal on Rue La La. Been needing new running shoes and I got an adorable pair of New Balance (my fave shoe to run in), not just any pair the color and style I have been wanting at a STELLAR price even after shipping and taxes! Bonus Rue La La lets you pay with pay pal AND you only play a flat shipping fee once every 30 days, so if I order anything more this month, no shipping for me and $10 referral bonus....Happy me!

Giving thanks....
Today one of the biggest things I am thankful for is that I am celebrating Thanksgiving this year cancer free AND chemo free! It's the big and little things of all of it, big thing...I am alive....little things I can peel potatoes (last year I couldn't touch cold water).
Oddly I have also become thankful that I have had cancer, though I wouldn't do it if given the choice and I hope it never returns, I learned and changed and grew in ways I never deemed possible.

New Years Eve...
I think I found my dream NYE dress, now I just need the money to afford an Alberta Ferretti and a place to wear it....details, details...
Happy Turkey Day!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone...In my effort to remember the true spirit of love I have been trying to read and soak in these VERY wise words...it is long but worth the read!
"People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway." -Mother Teresa

Kicked my ass...
Here is the interval training I did today on incline 2.0 on the treadmill. Made me SWEAT and work my lungs. Good for me cause I hate incline and I hate running over 6.5 as I have the shortest legs so they look 'FlinStone-ish' when I run anything over 6.5...

Running Music cont....
So I guess you will know when I had a good run (not necessarily just a run but a GOOD run) because I will feel compelled to blog the songs that kept me going while I ran. Had to toss a couple off of my running list today, instead of feeling energized by them I felt like I was dying inside mid-song. I did a nice easy 3 mile jog today on the treadmill as it is raining BUCKETS outside followed by a 20 minute interval training. The songs that made the cut today are (there may be some repeats from prior lists, that just meant they deemed repeating)...
1. "Seduce Me Tonight", Cycle V. Another one from the 'Flashdance' soundtrack!
2. "Monkey", George Michael.
3. "Thunder Kiss '65", White Zombie. Killer baseline, fast fast tempo and anger make for great running!
4. "Uprising", Muse. Inspiring song.
5. "Teeth", Lady Gaga. Great track, fun, good tempo.
6. "We Didn't Start the Fire", Billy Joel. I love the song and I think I try and run as fast and he sings :)
7. "Rag Doll", Aerosmith.
8. "Freedom 90", George Michael.
9."The Way I Are", Timbaland.
10. "Laid", James. Awesome and oft forgot mid '90's pop-alt song, fun lyrics, makes me in a great mood!
After the run was over cooled down to, "Goodbye Stranger", Supertramp, AWESOME song to slow down without sucking all the life out of ya!

This t-shirt is amazing, I want one! Such a simple statement, so true, why being gay is even an issue is beyond me!

Cake Batter Cookies...More Please

Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Made these today with my son, yum, yum YUM!!! And easy, easy EASY!
Ingredients:
1 (18.25 oz.) box cake mix
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2-In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix and baking powder. Add eggs and oil, then mix until well blended. (It was a bit crumbly for me so I used my hands to really mix it well- it's not as smooth as typical dough.)
3-Stir in chocolate chips, or your choice of additions. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
4- Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Running/Exercise Music
So I am really into running right now...hated it my whole life, started making myself do it about 3 years back to get my ass into some kind of shape and now I love it. Went out the other day thinking I would run about 3 miles because I "wasn't in the mood", 8.5 miles later I decided to stop (kinda like Gump). Anyway...here is a list of songs I like or love to run to, some require an explanation some not. I know a lot of people like to run based on song BPM (beats per minute), though I know an upbeat tempo helps, sometimes I like to run to certain songs that others consider too slow because they have meaning, make me feel powerful, make me happy or maybe even make me laugh (a good laugh can help get my slow ass up a hill). So here we go in no particular order...
1. "If", Janet Jackson. I can't not move to this song and I picture her in this video and dream of my stomach EVER looking like that
2. "All These Things That I've Done", the Killers. "I got soul but I'm not a soldier...." love this one
3. "Beast of Burden", The Rolling Stones. Not sure of the why on this one, just love the song...
4. "Disturbia", Rihanna
5. "Dance in the Dark", Lady Gaga
6. "Seether", Veruca Salt. It's just fun and up tempo!
7. "Monkey", George Michael
8. "Green Light", John Legend featuring Andre 3000, awesome tempo!
9. "Pink", Aerosmith. Mix my fave color and one of many favorite songs...keeps me going, especially when Steven Tyler says "Pink is my favorite crayon" best line of the song and it makes me feel like a kid running freely
10. "Get Low", Lil' Jon & the Eastside Boys
11. "Maniac", Michael Sambello. From the 'Flash Dance' soundtrack, the whole soundtrack actually kicks ass to run to!
12. "The Girl Gets Around", Sammy Hagar. From the ORIGINAL (and in my mind only) 'FootLoose' soundtrack, another great running soundtrack, not a Hagar fan but love this song!
13 & 14. "Rodeo" and "Ain't Goin' Down 'til the Sun Comes Up", Garth Brooks. Not a big country fan but these two songs keep me going..
15. "Start Me Up", The Rolling Stones. Predictable but I like it as m kick off song!
16. "Once Bitten, Twice Shy", Great White. A little butt rock is good for the soul!
17. "Dancing With Myself", Billy Idol. Really like this one!
To be continued...
